No one can quite understand everything that goes into a wedding quite like the Bride & Groom!
BRIDE
From picking your amazing gown, to choosing how you will do your hair, and every perfect detail in between, it can get pretty overwhelming! Here you will find a few helpful tips!
HAIR + MAKEUP
When getting hair and makeup plans in order, here are some suggestions!
Will you want pictures of the getting-ready moments? If so, maybe opt for your bridal party to wear robes or flannels (these also make a great thank-you gift to your maids!).
Bring a bottle of bubbly and some disposable wine flutes. This can make for a great candid shot with your ladies!
If you are not used to wearing false eyelashes, but want that look for your day, make sure to have some practice runs with the lashes and same brand glue. Or choose a longer-lasting and affordable option of eyelash extensions (I wear them all the time!).
Talk to your makeup artist about having a sample of your specific shade of lipstick and foundation for touch-ups throughout the day.
GROOM
The Bride and Groom share equal parts in planning for their special day, but their check lists may look completely different! Here are some simple Dos and Don’ts for the big day.
DO
Check on your bride! Even if you can’t see her, send her a text and make sure everything is going smoothly
Know your itinerary, and share it with your boys. Keeping on schedule will give you more time for fun!
Eat breakfast & lunch. A lot of the time, drinks start flowing early. Make sure you and your men have enough food.
HAVE FUN!
DON’T
Drink too much! Sometimes, the celebratory feeling and the company of your best buds makes you want to have a few beverages. It’s perfectly ok to have a few. But make sure you, and your boys, don’t over-do it! This goes for the night before as well!
Hold up your photographer. The schedule is probably already jam-packed. The more everyone listens, the quicker you are back to having free time!
